Almost everyone has more tummy fat than they’d like to have. The only people that don’t are probably already fitness professionals or bodybuilders. So why is it so hard to get rid of tummy anyway? Well, there are a lot of reasons but I’ll just mention a few.
One reason it’s so hard to get rid of is because companies around the world are trying to make a profit. I know it seems unrelated, but that’s why we have so many pesticides and other chemicals in our food. These chemicals are hard for our body to metabolize and it spends its time getting rid of them instead of doing other things, like absorbing nutrients for example.
Another reason tummy fat is hard to get rid of is because the lives we live today simply aren’t meant to be able to lose weight easily. We work long hours, have hardly any spare time, have to eat on the go at least once per day, and are therefore forced to eat processed, unhealthy foods. Like I said, there are many other variables but that could take up an entire book. Today I want to focus on actually getting rid of your extra fat.
How To Get Rid Of Tummy Fat
First of all, you’re going to need to discipline yourself. At first, just discipline yourself to eat 1 healthy meal per day. After a week, go to 2 healthy meals. Do this until you can eat healthy all day long without going stir-crazy and end up binging on junk food.
Your also going to want to increase your meals from 4-6 meals per day instead of 3. The smaller of a person you are, the less meals you’ll need. For example a 200 pound man may need 6 meals of 500 calories each to hit his calorie needs, while a 110 pound woman may need only 4 meals of 300-400 meals each to do the same. Anything more than 3 is going to help your metabolism, so keep that in mind.
Another important thing to consider is the amount of protein you eat. Eating extra protein can whittle away tummy fat like you wouldn’t believe. Because of its thermogenic affect, protein is the best kind of food to eat for weight loss. Shoot for about 1g per pound and you’ll be great.
The most important thing you can do to lose tummy fat is educate yourself. Read books, invest a bit of money, and put your knowledge to action.
That, my friend, is the key to losing tummy fat for good.
