We all constantly hear over and over, that it is so important for us to exercise. But so many of us do not. My wake up call was when I started getting arthritis at the age of 25 in my wrist. I was a Secretary at that time. I type all day long, and also I typed on a typewriter. Some of you may of heard of those things but never seen one. Back then they did not have all the wrist supporter things they have now. My wrist hung down, and was in a bent position, while my fingers stretch upward. Therefore my wrist started bothering me real bad, started swelling.
Many people think that they know the benefits of running. And of course the benefits vary from person to person. For a bank robber the benefits are reasonably clear – the need to be faster than the policemen! For the rest of us, the benefits may be a bit less obvious!
So what are the benefits of running:
Long, long ago, in about the year 300, in a galaxy far, far away, an Indian Hindu named Patanjali developed a practice meant to stretch human muscles, strengthen human bodies, and increase human concentration. He called this practice “Yoga,” which means “discipline,” in his language. Practitioners soon discovered that, in addition to improving physical health and developing discipline, yoga also helped them to relax. Sometimes it helped people relax who had been having considerable trouble relaxing in other ways.
The Weight Watcher diet plan has been one of the most commercialized weight loss programs in history. Since the 1960’s this program has helped dieters all around the world focus on nutrition, exercise and losing weight. The biggest question is whether it is right for you?

Trigger Finger is often categorized as a repetitive strain condition that results when a nodule or adhesion that has formed on the tendon of single or multiple fingers becomes stuck within the pulley system (Tendon sheath) of the affected finger. This condition may also be a result of an acute injury such as falling onto an outstretched hand, causing microtears in the tendon and the formation of scar tissue to develop on the affected tendon.
Everyone wants flat abs, and if you’re reading this now, my guess is you do too. But it’s difficult to get flat abs though, right? Wrong. Flat abs are a combination of three key ingredients:
1. Eat right.
This is the crux of flat abs really. You see, the reason people don’t have flat abs is because of the stored body fat that sits over their stomachs. For men, this is naturally where the body deposits long term energy storage (fat). For women, the body stores fat on the stomach, but mostly on the thighs and hips. Unfortunately for us, it’s impossible to reduce fat in specific areas - your body will burn the fat evenly all over.
If you’re planning on engaging in postural muscle strength activities in an effort to improve your posture, you should probably understand what you’re trying to achieve. If all it took to improve your posture was exercise, why do so many people at the gym have bad posture?
I know, I know, not everyone at the gym is in good shape. Still, check out the people that are of average height and weight with average muscle tone. Shouldn’t they have decent posture? It certainly makes sense that someone who sits at a computer all day and never exercises might develop bad posture, but how is it possible to work out and still not change your posture?
First things first - you CAN get a six pack. Regardless of what anyone tells you, it is possible, and completely achievable. Every human being possesses the same set of muscles around your abdomen that turn into a six pack when your body fat is low enough and the muscles are properly exercised. It’s just what happens when you’re in shape - you get a six pack.
