If you want to lose belly fat, then you want to adopt a fat loss cardio routine into your exercise program. Weight training, kettlebell exercises, bodyweight workouts should all be part of your fat burning workouts.
You can't just do a thousand sit ups or crunches and expect to lose stomach fat. Spot reduction is one of the great myths of fat loss, using light weights and doing countless ab specific exercises will not burn off your belly fat like many people would have you believe.
A good cardio routine will help burn calories all over. If it takes 3,500 calories to burn one pound, then you can try cutting back on about 500 calories of food consumption and doing a form of fat burning exercises that burns another 500 calories a day.

Obesity is a problem that plagues every part of the world. It is defined as a situation where people consume significantly more calories than they expend in physical activity – which is the exactly the same as definition for overweight. Despite that, obesity and overweight are not quite the same. Overweight is the excess amount of body weight that includes muscle, bone, fat, and water, when obesity is the excess accumulation of body fat. This means one can be overweight without being obese, one example being a body builder.
There is a new diet regimen that is gaining popularity across the world known as the calorie shifting meal plan. As the name implies, it is a diet based on the theory that shifting your calories from meal to meal, from day to day, will trigger the appropriate metabolic response that will induce fat burning and thus rapid weight loss.
Calorie shifting differs from other diet regimens in that you are not restricting the quantity or the types of food that you eat. You can eat as much as you want from all four food groups while you are on this diet. The only caveat is that you must group your calories together in accordance with the pattern that is most conducive to fat loss.

Thousands of people across the world have found success by shifting calories to lose weight. A viable alternative to the more well-known low-carb, low-calorie, and low-fat diets, calorie shifting is gaining popularity as a serious contender in the world of rapid weight loss solutions.
Unlike the other “restriction” diets, where you must restrict your carbs, restrict your calories, and restrict your fats, the calorie shifting diet allows you to eat as much food as you want from each of the four food groups. You will never find yourself starving or hungry as you might on a calorie-counting diet, because you can eat as much food as you want until you are satisfied. You will never find yourself feeling deprived of a food due to cravings you might have for foods laden with carbohydrates, because you can eat as many proteins, carbohydrates, and fats as you want.
I promised a simple menu for a client that continues to work hard taking two steps forward at training but falls back three steps – through her eating habits – and finds no gain is accomplished.
In fact, most of us struggle with the same issue. I encourage people to make a selection and commit to a nutritional support program that you can live with – daily – for at least two months and then stand back and see the results of your work. For example, my website provides a link to eDiets which provides an array of diet and nutrition choices. Pick one, sign up and work with it.
