Many times the decision to quit smoking is made in haste, usually fueled by anger or frustration. How many people angrily or disgustedly crush a pack of cigarettes in their hands and throw the pack out a window? It is an impulse and many times the person is stops to buy more cigarettes when the reality of the situation sets in.

A lot can be accomplished with anger or the energy built up over time with the frustration of living with a tobacco addiction. It’s okay to be angry and to vent your frustration. We don’t need to go into the many ways tobacco companies lied and manipulated for years, it is sufficient to say many smokers are justified in their anger. Justified or not, the real question is, what are you going to do to help yourself?
